Preschool Activities & Lessons
Below you will find a brief sample of some original preschool activities, lessons, and hands on activities
Math: Sorting
Sorting involves finding things that are the same, or alike, and grouping them by specific traits or attributes. Young children can classify anything, and they are often classifying on their own throughout the day (i.e you may see them gather baby items when playing with a baby doll/ or put all of the dinosaurs together in one pile, and all of their toy cars together in a separate pile).
In this lesson the children can help me sort through the food items to find the fruit! he children can sort through the food items and help identify the fruit. (The hungry caterpillar eats a lot of fruit before turning into a butterfly).

-
Practice making the “K" sound together
-
Ask your child, "Can you find other objects in your house that start with the letter K"
Math: Sorting
Another sorting activity!
In this lesson I will need to sort through some items to see which ones I can use to garden.
Language & Literacy
Storytime is essential to a child's development! It helps them develop their attending skills, vocabulary, love of reading, and so much more!
Let's see what items are "yummy" and which are "yucky" with Leslie Patricelli's book Yummy, Yucky.
